The Share Toolbar plugin displays a floating social sharing bar on your website. This toolbar allows visitors to quickly share the current page to social networks or send it by email. The toolbar typically appears along the side of the page as visitors scroll.
Accessing the Share Toolbar
Navigate to:
Social → Plugins → Share Toolbar
From this page you can control whether the toolbar appears on your site, which sharing buttons are included, and how the toolbar is styled.
Display Settings
Show
Controls whether the floating share toolbar is displayed.
- No – The toolbar will not appear on the website.
- Yes – The toolbar will appear on all pages.
- Yes, but not on mobile – The toolbar appears on desktop and tablet devices but is hidden on mobile screens.
Share Buttons
This field controls which social sharing buttons appear in the toolbar. Enter the button names separated by commas.
Available options include:
- plusone
- stumbleupon
- buffer
Only the buttons listed here will appear in the toolbar.
Toolbar Settings
Email Address
If the email sharing option is enabled, you can specify the email address used for the email sharing function.
Button Style
Controls how the share buttons are displayed.
- vertical – Buttons are stacked vertically.
- horizontal – Buttons appear in a horizontal row.
- none – Buttons appear without a predefined layout.
Alignment
Controls which side of the page the floating toolbar appears on.
- left
- right
Opacity
Adjusts the transparency of the toolbar. Lower values make the toolbar more transparent, while higher values make it more solid. The typical range is between 50 and 100.
Saving Changes
After adjusting your settings, click Save to apply the changes. The share toolbar will update automatically on your website.
