The Social Tabs Deluxe plugin adds expandable social media panels to the edge of your website. These tabs slide open when a visitor clicks them, allowing users to view content from your social networks without leaving your site. This can include feeds, profile information, and sharing tools depending on the network configured.
Accessing Social Tabs Deluxe
Navigate to:
Social → Plugins → Social Tabs Deluxe
From this page you can enable the plugin, configure social networks, and adjust the display behavior and appearance of the tabs.
Display Settings
Show
Controls whether the Social Tabs Deluxe feature appears on your website.
- No – Tabs are disabled.
- Yes – Tabs appear on all pages.
- Yes, but not on mobile – Tabs appear on desktop and tablet devices but are hidden on mobile screens.
Configuring Social Networks
Each social network tab can display live feeds or links to your profiles. Simply enter the appropriate username, ID, or URL for the network you wish to display. Any network left blank will not appear.
RSS Feed
Enter the URL of an RSS feed to display. By default, many websites use their news feed, such as:
http://yourdomain.com/news
The Twitter tab can display several types of feeds:
- User feed – Enter the username without the “@” symbol.
- List feed – Enter “/” followed by the list ID.
- Search feed – Enter “#” followed by the search term.
Twitter API credentials may also be required:
- API Key
- API Secret
- Access Token
- Access Token Secret
Enter your Facebook Page ID to display a Facebook feed. A Facebook Access Token is also required to retrieve content from your page.
This token must be generated through the Facebook Developer platform and then pasted into the Facebook Access Token field.
Facebook Like and Recommend
- Facebook Like – Enter your Facebook Page ID.
- Facebook Recommend – Enter the URL of your website.
Enter your Google profile ID and API key if you wish to display Google-related content.
Flickr
Flickr can display images from:
- A specific Flickr username
- A Flickr group (enter “/” followed by the group ID)
If left blank, the plugin may display recent public images from Flickr.
Pinterest supports two formats:
- User posts – Enter the username.
- Specific board – Enter the username followed by “/” and the board name.
The LinkedIn tab can display multiple widgets. Up to four LinkedIn IDs may be entered, separated by commas.
Examples include:
- Member profile URL
- Company ID
- Company insider feed
- Company job listings
These should be entered in the order the widgets should appear.

Additional networks supported by the plugin include:

- Tumblr
- Digg
- Delicious
- Dribbble
- Last.fm
- StumbleUpon
Simply enter the appropriate username or ID for each service.
Layout and Position Settings
Position
Determines how the tab container behaves on the page.
- Fixed – Tabs remain visible while the visitor scrolls.
- Absolute – Tabs scroll with the page content.
Location
Determines where the tab container appears on the page.

Alignment
Controls the alignment of the tab container relative to the selected location.

Width
Controls the width of the expanded tab panel in pixels.
Height
Controls the height of the expanded tab panel in pixels.
Pixel Offset
Determines how far the tab container is offset from the edge of the page.
Auto-close
When enabled, the tab panel will automatically close after a visitor finishes interacting with it.
Saving Changes
After adjusting your settings, click Save to apply the changes. The Social Tabs Deluxe plugin will update automatically on your website.
