Creating a hidden page in the Site Manager provides a place to do development work that is not seen by visitors to the website. This page can have subpages that can also be hidden, providing a sandbox environment for multi-page development.
If you need additional protection for the development area, you can password protect the page and its subpages. Please note that when logged in to the Site Manager, you will not be prompted to enter credentials to see the protected page(s), this is because the system has already authenticated you as the administrator.
