The Store Shipping Account settings allow you to connect your online store to a shipping service provider for real-time shipping rate calculations during checkout. This helps ensure customers are charged accurate shipping costs based on their location and selected shipping method.
Accessing Shipping Account Settings
Navigate to:
Store → Configuration → Shipping Account
From this page you can configure the shipping provider used by your store and enter the credentials required to connect to that service.
Shipping Service Provider
Select the shipping service provider used by your store to calculate shipping rates.
Currently the supported provider is:
- ShipEngine – Provides real-time shipping rates and logistics integration.
Once selected, the appropriate configuration options for that provider will appear.
ShipEngine Configuration
ShipEngine is a shipping platform that connects your store to major shipping carriers and provides real-time shipping calculations at checkout. This allows customers to see accurate shipping costs before completing their purchase.
API Key
Enter your ShipEngine API Key to connect your store to your ShipEngine account.
If this field is left blank, the system may use default shipping services where available.
Creating a ShipEngine Account
If you do not yet have a ShipEngine account, you can create one by visiting:

ShipEngine offers:

Using real-time shipping calculations helps prevent overcharging or undercharging for shipping, improving the checkout experience and reducing cart abandonment.
Saving Changes
After entering your shipping account information, click Save to store your settings. Your store will begin using the configured shipping provider for checkout calculations.
