Library Items allow administrators to grant a customer access to digital products or resources in the store library. This is typically used for downloadable content such as documents, recordings, or other digital materials associated with store items.
Accessing Library Items
Library items are managed within a customer record.
Navigate to:
Store → Customers
Select the customer, then add or edit a library item from their account.
Customer
The Customer field identifies the account that will receive access to the library item. This field is automatically filled when adding items from a customer record and cannot be changed.
Selecting an Item
Item
Choose the store item to grant access to. Items are grouped by category and may include multiple editions or versions of the same product.
Each option displays:
- The item title
- The edition or version description
- The price
- The item code (if configured)
Once selected, the customer will gain access to that item in their library.
Additional Fields
Order # / Note
Optional field used to record an order number or internal note associated with the library item.
Added
Specifies the date and time the library item was added to the customer’s account. This field defaults to the current date and time but may be adjusted if needed.
Counter
A numeric field that can be used to track downloads, usage counts, or other custom metrics depending on your configuration.
Disabled
When enabled, the library item is disabled and will no longer be accessible to the customer. This can be used to revoke access without deleting the record.
Adding Items for Multiple Customers
If you need to assign the same library item to multiple customers, you can use the bulk assignment tool available from the page header:
Add for multiple customers
This allows administrators to grant access to the same item across many customer accounts at once.
Saving Changes
After entering the necessary information, click Add Item or Save Changes to store the library item. The selected customer will immediately gain access to the item in their library.
